Description:
Students create a mini symphony of four short movements. The inspiration is a series of photographs designed to evoke emotional responses.

Description:

Title: 3D Building in a Virtual World
Description:
Spend the day building and designing a 3 dimensional object in a virtual world. Capture screen shots of student work and load the pictures into a comic book layout and annotate the images. (This virtual world is self contained and not connected to the internet}.

Students capture images from inside the 3-D world of what they have created

Title: Crazy Talk: Animate Photos to Talk
Description:
Students bring digital photography (pets, family members) and animate the photos so they can talk. Students create the dialogue and stories they would like the photos to tell.

Description:
Students write a simple script and capture themselves in various poses in front of the green screen. Add interesting background and compile the images into a Comic Book with dialogue bubbles.

Title: Create a Pop Song using Acid – 2 Day Course
Description:
Students spend the first day creating samples from existing CDs and combining them with pre-recorded loops to create the foundation of a pop song. Day two is used to write and record their own performances (vocals, guitar, piano etc.) to their songs before they are edited and mixed.

Outcome:
The students will have a thorough grounding and understanding of the sampling and recording aspects of Sony Acid.
